My Mom Is a Kiddie Pool

I am so excited to announce that my book “Fifty & Failing, Fabulously!” went on sale today at Amazon.com. If you’re inclined to do so, please take a look.

Here’s a tiny sample:

Being a kiddie pool was a realization that would be brought to my attention by my daughter after several years of online dating.  Three years into the future, with her expansive thirteen years of experience, the little sage I loved and imparted wisdom to would exclaim, “My mother is a kiddie pool!”  I immediately demanded clarification, and she was quick to point out that I didn’t like this one’s voice or that one’s hand gestures or he wasn’t tall enough or he didn’t have muscles or whatever it was I didn’t like about the men I had dated. She concluded, “You know, Mom, shallow, like a kiddie pool.”
